On September 25, representatives of the SVTECH Hanoi office’s Labor Union met with and presented a 3 million VND donation to Đặng Thị Phương (born in 2006) — a Dao ethnic minority student from Hà Giang who lives with a disability in her hand. The gift was contributed from SVTECH’s Charity Fund with the hope of encouraging and supporting her on her educational journey.

Phương was born into a disadvantaged family and faces physical challenges as she is missing one hand. Despite these difficulties, she excelled academically and was admitted to the Ethnic Minority University in Hanoi. She is now studying Chinese Language at Đông Đô University after receiving a scholarship. Although her tuition fees and dormitory accommodation are covered, Phương still has to manage her daily living expenses. She is currently looking for part-time work to ease her financial burden.

SVTECH’s Labor Union agreed to offer her this small contribution to encourage her to keep striving toward a brighter future. On the morning of September 25, representatives from the Hanoi office visited Đông Đô University to meet Phương and deliver the donation in person.

SVTECH hopes that this support will help Phương maintain her confidence, continue her efforts, and achieve success in both her studies and her life ahead.
