The 6 Runners, including Nguyen Van Thai, Vu Xuan Nam, Bui Thi Ha, Phan Mai Duc, Nguyen Quoc Hai, and Luyen Tien Duc, have successfully conquered the 21km and 42km distances at the VnExpress Marathon Hanoi Midnight.
Starting at 0:00 AM on November 27, 6 SVTECH Runners joined more than 10,000 domestic and international athletes of the VnExpress Marathon Hanoi Midnight night run to complete the challenge.
At the race, the runners together conquered the most beautiful routes of the Capital at midnight to feel the stillness and peace of Hanoi, while being energized when running through the bustling old quarters and along the most beautiful streets of Hanoi such as Thanh Nien, Nguyen Dinh Thi, Hung Vuong, Phan Dinh Phung…
Sharing his thoughts after completing the race, Mr. Vu Xuan Nam (QA Manager) said: “When coming to this race, I had only 2 main goals:
Goal 1: Pull Ha to finish before 2 hours and 5 minutes
Goal 2: Enjoy the landmarks and famous places of Hanoi at night and have many beautiful photos at these locations.”
To achieve that, Mr. Nam and the whole team had a methodical training plan in advance as well as diligent practice, aiming to complete the run in under 2 hours.
SVTECH runners did not place heavy emphasis on achievements when participating in the race but always kept in mind to enjoy every step; surpassing their own previous achievements is what matters.
At VnExpress Marathon Hanoi Midnight 2022, SVTECH only had runner Phan Mai Duc registered to conquer the 42km distance. This is also the goal of many other SVTECHer runners for the seasons next year.
Congratulations to the SVTECH runners; the achievements you attained and your sports-loving spirit will significantly inspire many other colleagues in the company.
