The world is witnessing the extraordinary advancement of artificial intelligence (AI). Especially when combined with cloud modernization services, AI can open up many new opportunities for businesses.
On January 10, with the aim of providing more information on the breakthrough combination of artificial intelligence (AI) and modernized cloud services, SVTECH, in collaboration with DELL Technologies and Microsoft Azure, organized a seminar titled “AI With Modernized On-Premises Cloud Services.” The program attracted strong interest from many domestic enterprises.
Opening the seminar, speaker Trịnh Công Tâm from Dell Technologies presented the topic “Dell APEX Cloud Platform for Microsoft Azure,” introducing a solution built on the decades-long partnership between Dell and Microsoft.
Dell APEX Cloud Platform for Microsoft Azure helps enterprises extend the Azure experience to data centers and edge computing environments.

This new platform combines Dell’s expertise in delivering software-defined management and orchestration capabilities and software-defined storage with Microsoft’s strong capabilities in cloud computing services and container orchestration.
Following that, Mr. Danny Tay, Cloud and HCI Azure Stack expert from Microsoft Asia, delivered an online sharing session on Microsoft Azure Stack HCI.
This is a hyperconverged clustering solution that uses validated hardware to run on-premises virtualized workloads, helping customers easily consolidate legacy infrastructure and connect to Azure for cloud services.

Microsoft Azure Stack HCI is delivered as an Azure service, so users do not have to wait for traditional product updates but can deploy new features to their clusters as soon as they are available.
The final topic presented at the seminar was “RAG and LLM on Enterprise Data to Build Internal Chat GPT,” delivered by speaker Hoàng Trọng Tôn – an expert from SVTECH.
According to Mr. Tôn, data is also a form of enterprise asset that requires new technology-driven approaches to generate more value. In today’s AI era, especially with the rise of ChatGPT, building a large language model (LLM) is one such approach, enabling enterprises to create their own “internal ChatGPT.”

LLMs are a type of generative AI that focus on text and code rather than images or audio, though some have begun to integrate multiple modalities. To adopt LLMs in an enterprise, organizations need to follow three steps:
- Determine whether GenAI is necessary in the business
- Choose the appropriate model
- Adapt and improve the model to suit specific use cases
Common methods for improving LLM models today include: Prompt Engineering, RAG, Fine-tuning, and PEFT.
SVTECH is also one of the reputable organizations with experience providing End-to-End LLM solutions for enterprises. This solution includes:
– AI infrastructure for training and inference
– Deployment of the AI software platform
– Customization services
– Data preparation services
– Fine-tuning model
– End-to-end integration
The seminar concluded with an engaging Q&A session. It is hoped that with the information shared, enterprises will have more foundations to apply AI and cloud technologies to their business operations to drive growth.
