SVTECH served as the lead consulting, implementation, and system integration partner for the Hanoi City Government Data Center project.

The City Government Data Center, implemented under the Data Center as a Service model, has officially been inaugurated at VNPT IDC Hoa Lac. As a key member of the contractor consortium, SVTECH is proud to accompany the city in building a modern technology infrastructure, contributing to the goal of developing a smart and sustainable urban environment.

In July 2024, following the completion of all investment procedures, the contractor consortium comprising Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT), Sun Viet Informatics Telecommunications Technology Development Joint Stock Company (SVTECH), and VinaPhone Telecommunications Services Corporation was officially selected to implement this strategic project. With the objective of not only delivering a modern data center but also establishing a solid foundation for the city’s innovation and development, the consortium promptly commenced project deployment.

Overview of the Hanoi City Government Data Center

After more than four months of continuous effort, engineering teams successfully completed the data center infrastructure and migrated over 300 existing city applications to the new platform. This achievement marks a significant technological milestone while opening opportunities to improve public service delivery, enabling services to operate more smoothly, efficiently, and securely.

As a member of the contractor consortium, SVTECH played a leading role in consulting, implementation, and system integration, while also participating in operational support for the Hanoi City Government Data Center.

“The Hanoi City Government Core Data Center has been built with an information security and safety system in accordance with the recommendations of Government Decree No. 85/2016/NĐ-CP on ensuring information system security by classification levels. The system applies advanced technologies that comply with organizational infrastructure and data protection frameworks, incorporating authentication mechanisms based on the Zero Trust security framework.”

The official operation of the Hanoi City Government Data Center marks a critical milestone in strengthening the city’s IT infrastructure, ensuring the successful implementation of Hanoi’s comprehensive digital transformation program. The center serves as a foundation for innovation and development, while promoting data connectivity, sharing, and exploitation to create new value in government operations that better serve citizens and enterprises.

The water filtration system was installed at the Hung Chanh Hamlet Cultural House, Chau Hung Commune, Binh Dai District, Ben Tre Province.
