On September 8, Mr. Nguyễn Mạnh Hưng, Head of the Data Engineering Department at SVTECH, delivered a lecture at the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (Hanoi), Department of Telecommunications 1, covering SQL (Databases). The session attracted over 100 enthusiastic students.
Institute of Technology, aiming to provide students with in-depth knowledge of databases in real-world applications, as well as practical experience in the Telecommunications and IT industry in Vietnam.
With many years of experience at SVTECH, Mr. Hưng brought valuable insights to the lecture. Beyond the theoretical session, he also designed hands-on lab exercises for students at the institute.
Thanks to Mr. Hưng’s careful preparation, dedication, and enthusiasm, both the theoretical lecture and hands-on lab sessions received highly positive feedback from students and faculty of Department of Telecommunications 1. The department and students expressed interest in expanding this model in the future.
To prepare for one theoretical session and two practical lab sessions, Mr. Hưng spent significant time developing teaching materials and coordinating directly with the faculty of Department of Telecommunications 1. To ensure SVTECH’s image was presented professionally and credibly, he also collaborated with HR to organize two SQL demo sessions before the official lectures at the institute.
This collaboration demonstrates that SVTECH not only contributes positively to Vietnam’s education sector but also strengthens the company’s image among young talents—the future engineers of the industry.
