The past weekend was filled with a strong sporting spirit for SVTECHers at the Ho Chi Minh City office, as a series of friendly matches took place. These games were not only about improving physical fitness but also about strengthening teamwork and camaraderie through a shared passion for sports.
First and foremost, the friendly football match between SVTECH and Eximbank ahead of the ITBank Ho Chi Minh City 2023 tournament must be mentioned. Although Eximbank secured a 4–3 victory, the SVTECH team gained valuable match experience and enjoyed a meaningful and exciting friendly game.
This match was considered a warm-up game, allowing teams to prepare ahead of the ITBank Tournament — a football competition jointly organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Information Technology and the State Bank of Vietnam. The tournament aims to strengthen networking, unity, and solidarity among IT professionals in the banking sector, technology vendors, and system integrators across the city.
Wishing our team continued determination and readiness to fight with full spirit for the blue SVTECH jersey.
On the same day, the SVTECH Ho Chi Minh City Badminton Club competed in intense and exciting matches against the Sacombank Badminton Club. The friendly matches were held in the spirit of sportsmanship, focusing on improving health and strengthening teamwork and brotherhood through a shared love for badminton.
Beyond the games on the court, the two clubs also enjoyed a social gathering afterward. This certainly became a memorable experience for the amateur athletes from SVTECH and Eximbank.
Meanwhile, SVTECH Ho Chi Minh City’s tennis enthusiasts, together with partners from the Power Sector, were also actively involved. Under the August heat of Saigon, the players’ enthusiasm remained unwavering. The images below perfectly capture their professionalism and dedication.
